INDUSTRIAL ACTION – Wednesday 1st March 2023

The National Education Union (NEU), which represents some teachers in schools, has voted to take industrial action in the form of a strike on Wednesday 1st March 2023.

We respect the teachers’ right to take this action in the dispute they have with the Department of Education.  However, we recognise that this will be disruptive to students’ education and to parents and carers. 

All students in Year 11 are expected to attend as normal on Wednesday 1st March 2023. 

Students in years 7, 8, 9 & 10 should not attend the academy on 1st March 2023.
