Geography Rivers Trip – Year 9

A trip for Year 9 students that have chosen geography at GCSE. We will explore the key processes at work along a tributary, Porters Brook, leading into Sheffield. This opens up the learning from the classroom into the real world and we can see the theory in practice creating the meanders, waterfalls and floodplains as we follow the long profile from the upper to lower basin through woodland and park.
